Denton Creek Blvd Bridge & Water Line

Expansion and Improvements Project

Project Description

This infrastructure project features the construction of two 800-foot, 2-lane bridges with pedestrian sidewalks, spanning critical water crossings in a densely developed urban environment. Designed to improve connectivity and safety, the project required advanced coordination and precision engineering to overcome space and utility constraints.

Project highlights include

Bridge Construction: Delivery of two long-span bridges with integrated sidewalks, enhancing pedestrian access and traffic flow across water crossings.

Embankment Stabilization: Placement of 21,000 cubic yards of embankment material to establish a stable foundation and support long-term structural integrity.

Utility Coordination: Careful construction around high-voltage power lines, with strict safety protocols and scheduling strategies to avoid service disruptions and ensure worker protection.

Right-of-Way Management: Execution within a narrow urban corridor, requiring detailed planning and coordination to meet budget and schedule targets without impacting surrounding infrastructure.

This project showcases the ability to deliver complex bridge infrastructure in constrained urban settings—balancing safety, efficiency, and community impact while supporting regional mobility and resilience.
