DFW Airport Expansions and Improvements Multiple Projects
Building the Future
DFW Airport Soil Slopes Remediation – Phase III
Project Description
This airfield-critical civil works program delivers the reconstruction and stabilization of multiple failed soil slopes and eroded embankments across DFW Airport’s landside corridors. The project enhances long-term resilience by restoring structural integrity to aging embankments while improving drainage, safety, and erosion control throughout high-traffic airport zones.
Project highlights include
Slope Reconstruction & Stabilization: Repair and reinforcement of distressed slopes and embankments using engineered fills, grading, and protective treatments to restore structural performance.
Drainage Improvements: Upgrades to channel flow paths, installation of riprap protection, and restoration of stormwater controls to reduce future erosion risk.
Safety & Site Restoration: Guardrail replacements, irrigation system restoration, and comprehensive erosion-control measures supporting airport operational safety and environmental compliance.
This project enhances long-term infrastructure resilience and demonstrates expertise in large-scale earthwork, drainage remediation, and construction within active airport environments.
DFW Airport ARFF Bridge Project 2025
Project Description
This essential airfield access project includes the construction of a new structural vehicular bridge spanning West Airfield Drive to support DFW Airport’s upgraded Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) network. The bridge provides a dedicated, direct route for emergency vehicles, improving response times and operational efficiency across the west side of the airport.
Project highlights include
New Structural Bridge Construction: Delivery of a purpose-built vehicular bridge engineered for heavy-duty emergency apparatus and continuous airfield operations.
Enhanced Emergency Access: Creates a dedicated connection to the new West ARFF Station, supporting faster and safer response to runway, taxiway, and airfield incidents.
Operational Consolidation: Integrates with DFW’s modernization plan to consolidate four aging ARFF stations into two state-of-the-art facilities, strengthening safety and incident-response capabilities.
This project demonstrates the ability to deliver complex airfield infrastructure with a direct impact on life-safety, emergency operations, and long-term airport resiliency.
