Wilson Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant
UV and Centrifuge Improvements
Project Description
This regional facility treats over 56 million gallons per day (MGD) and plays a vital role in supporting North Texas communities.
Our scope includes
Biosolids Optimization: Installation of four high-capacity centrifuges (600 gpm each), progressing cavity feed pumps (1,000 gpm), and polymer feed systems to enhance sludge dewatering efficiency.
UV Disinfection Upgrade: Replacement of the plant’s ultraviolet system with new Trojan UV banks capable of treating full effluent flow while meeting strict permit limits.
Structural Enhancements: Rehabilitation of process basins, new centrifuge building foundations, and stainless steel sluice gates, piping, and flow channels.
Electrical & SCADA Modernization: Upgraded power distribution and integrated SCADA controls for seamless monitoring and operational reliability.
These improvements will significantly boost biosolids handling, disinfection reliability, and system resilience, positioning NTMWD to meet future growth and regulatory demands.
